-by Setting Up the Kitchen Ready for Service
-by Making Sure the Kitchen is Kept Clean and Tidy During Service
-by Making Sure Food is Served Quickly and in the Correct Order
-by Communicating to Manager and Front of House Team About Any Food Shortages Before and During Service, to Make Sure Customers Know About this Before They Order
-by Making Sure all the Deliveries are Checked Into the Restaurant to Company Standard, if Applicable, and Advising the Manager if Any Problems
-by Making Sure the Correct Stock Rotation Principles (fifo) are Adhered To
-by Making Sure the Correct Par Levels are Maintained
-by Recording all Food Wastage Accurately
-by Following the Cleaning Rota to Make Sure the Kitchen is Kept Clean and Tidy At all Times
-by Carrying Out all the Temperature Checks as Needed

-by Acknowledging Every Customer On Arrival Ensuring Orders are Taken Promptly and Queries Dealt With
-by Regularly Checking with the Kitchen Team to Ensure the Order is Prepared to Standard
-by Maintaining Excellent Service Standards, Throughout the Meal, By Checking Back with Customers, Clearing Tables, Offering & Recommending Menu Items (displaying Good Menu Knowledge to Advise On Allergies) and Dealing with other Customer Requirements
-by Actively Selling and Recommending Menu Items, Where Appropriate, to Increase Sales and Drive Average Spend per Head (asph)
-by Taking Payment from Customers Promptly, Ensuring all Transactions are Completed
